Australia to Host 2021 FIPFA Powerchair Football World Cup

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT | Australia has been awarded hosting rights for the 2021 FIPFA World Cup! The event is set to be held in Sydney's Olympic Park precinct.

The APFA Executive would like to give our thanks to everyone who has helped make this a reality. Special thanks must go to our patron, Mr Rale Rasic, CEO of Football NSW Stuart Hodge and Head of Community Football Peter Hugg, CEO of Football Federation of Australia David Gallop and Head of National Teams Luke Casserley and NSW Minister for Disability Services,  the Hon. Ray Williams MP.

This is a major boost for powerchair football in Australia and is an amazing opportunity for our country to host a major sporting event. Congratulations to all involved!
